Ga. High School Graduation Rate is 67 Percent
By JEFF MARTIN  - The Associated Press  ATLANTA —

Georgia's high school graduation rate of 67 percent ranks it behind all of its neighboring states and puts it among the lowest in the nation under new federal measurements released by the U.S. Department of Education. The report details four-year high school graduation rates in 2010-11 - the first year for which all states used a common measure, federal officials say. Only two states -- Nevada and New Mexico -- and the District of Columbia fared worse than Georgia in the new rankings released Monday.

Whether Democrat or Republican, most Americans who oppose the universally-failed theories of Marxism/socialism/communism would be shocked to learn what's been happening under the radar in many public schools for decades.

Karl Marx was raised in an essentially non-religious home and he adopted atheism. No wonder a man has been elected twice as President of the U.S. who has profound Socialist leanings.

Gingrich: The key ‘R’ word is Republican, not Romney
  Human Events Newt Gingrich

With all the efforts to understand the recent election defeat, a lot of the focus has been on former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney and his campaign. That is exactly the wrong way to begin analyzing the outcome of the 2012 campaign. The focus on Romney as a candidate is profoundly misleading for those who want to prepare for future Republican victories.  Any analysis of recent Republican presidential results will reveal a systemic failure which can’t be ascribed to Romney. Vote for Revenge of Love of Country?

We each have our own reasons for voting. President Obama said voting is the best revenge. Mitt Romney asked supporters to vote for love of country.

This Tuesday, what will be your reason for voting?
Click on video to view
In what could be the most stunning video indictment of President Obama and his administration’s policies this election year, a YouTube video reveals the fallout of the “hope” and “change” Obama promised in 2008.

YouTube user TheVisualEdge explained that he assembled the seven-minute video, “Conservatism is Calling,” “to get people excited about the election.” The user notes, “I was not hired or paid to create this.” The video description refers users to a website for Hollywood Director Chris Corrado.

Obama can be seen promising to “fundamentally transform the United States of America” in the days before his election. The video highlights his promises for fiscal responsibility and his pledge to cut the soaring national deficit in half by the end of his first term.

“This must stop,” the ad declares after illustrating the scope of the administration’s spending. “The money will run out. Like it has in Italy. Like it has in Greece. Like it has in Spain. Like it has in France.”

In the video, Obama can be heard making several more pledges to the American people, including:

  • “My administration will not rest until every American can find a job.”
  • “We will not rest until we are succeeding in generating the jobs that this economy needs.”
  • “I will not rest until businesses are investing again and businesses are hiring again.”
  • “I’m not gonna rest in our efforts to help people who are looking to find a job.”
  • “We will not rest until we build an economy that’s ready for America’s future.”

Meanwhile, the ad flashes numerous shots of Obama enjoying life on the putting green – as he plays more than 100 rounds of golf in at least 10 weeks during his presidency “during the worst economy since the Depression.”The video warns voters, “And that’s just jobs. Consider his record on energy, foreign policy, national security, health care, transparency, illegal immigration, cover-ups.”

For those citizens who believe the government doesn’t spend, regulate, tax and “take” enough, the video flashes the Obama campaign’s “Forward” slogan and encourages those individuals to move the U.S. “forward” to more debt, more food stamps, more regulation, a weaker dollar, a smaller workforce and a poorer people.

“For the rest of you, conservatism is calling,” the ad declares, quoting “Liberty and Tyranny” author Mark Levin and talk radio host Rush Limbaugh and displaying images of well-known “champions of conservatism” who are “all former liberals.”

Viewers are asked to vote for conservative candidates this election. “Join us,” the video urges voters. “We have the winning argument.”

Absentee ballot issues reported in 2 Iowa counties

Muscatine resident Craig White says a Democratic campaign worker somehow gave his 75-year-old mother the impression that it was OK for her to sign his name on an absentee ballot request form when he wasn’t home. It’s a felony under Iowa’s voting laws to falsify a signature.

“It shocked me, and it really almost made me change my vote,” said White, a Democrat. “As far as I’m concerned, my civil rights were violated.” Elsewhere, reports of unauthorized absentee ballot paperwork have led to an investigation by the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation. Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta announced on Sunday that General Carter Ham Commander of GOC Africa Command (Africom), headquartered in Stuttgart, Germany. (U.S. Africa Command is one of six unified geographic commands within the Department of Defense unified command structure.) for refusing to obey orders not to assist the US personnel in Benghazi on the night of September 11. Army General David Rodriguez has been appointed by President Obama to become replace him.

Gen. Ham refused to take responsibility for the decision not to provide essential air coverage and other support for the beleaguered personnel at the Consulate. After the information was leaked last week that three urgent requests for support were denied to the Americans trapped in the Consulate and the Annex, President Barack Obama said on Sunday, “The minute I found out what was going on, I gave three very clear directives – Number 1, make sure that we are securing our personnel and doing whatever we need to.” According to the highly decorated, four-star General, Carter Ham, the President is lying.  Read more

Under Obama Food Stamp Growth 75X Greater than Job Creation - Weekly Standard  Nov 2, 2012 • By DANIEL HALPER
With the latest jobs report, it is now the case that "Under Obama, Food Stamp Growth [Is] 75 Times Greater Than Job Creation," according to statistics compiled by the Republican side of the Senate Budget Committee. "For Every Person Added to Jobs Rolls Since January 2009, 75 People Added To Food Stamp Rolls."

<< View chart detailing the growth

Since January 2009, as the chart shows, a net of 194,000 new jobs have been created. During that same time, 14.7 million have been added to the food stamp rolls.

"Simply put, the President’s policies have not produced jobs. During his time in office, 14.7 million people were added to the food stamp rolls. Over that same time, only 194,000 jobs were created—thus 76 people went on food stamps for every one that found a job," says Senator Jeff Sessions, ranking member of the Senate Budget Committee. "This is a product of low growth. Post-recession economic growth in 2010 was 2.4%, and dropped in 2011 to 1.8%. This year it has dropped again to 1.77%. Few, if any, net jobs will be created with growth of less than 2%."

The Republicans on the Senate Budget Committee put the job growth into perspective:
