Even though he dropped from the race, those bound delegates must vote for Gingrich this summer at the Republican National Convention in Tampa, Fla., until he releases them to the presumptive nominee, Mitt Romney. Gingrich has yet to do that.

Newt Gingrich took the stage at the Georgia Republican Party state convention on Saturday wearing a Mitt Romney sticker, focusing his attacks on President Barack Obama and attempting to energize the crowd around his former Republican rival. The former U.S. House speaker's endorsement of Romney was met with mixed reaction as dozens of Ron Paul supporters frequently interrupted Gingrich's remarks, booing and shouting Paul's name. Ron Paul Presence at Convention
Yes, there was a strong showing of Ron Paul supporters. Some of them really like to scream "POINT OF ORDER," speak on the convention microphones, chant "RON Paul" and hurl insults at
the convention chair and parliamentarian. However, they were greatly out numbered by Republican delegates and were unsuccessful in stalling the convention process. Nice to see the Ron Paul delegates and visitors who conducted themselves
in an orderly fashion.

On Mother's Day, Mitt always brings me lilacs, a tradition he started the year I became a mother.
... When our home is filled with their fragrance, it reminds me of so many things, and stirs so many emotions. I think of my five sons and the women they married, whom I love as if I had raised them.
It wasn't easy raising five boys. To put it mildly, they had a way of laying their emotions and their disputes on the table. They were a handful - and sometimes I just hoped to return home and find our house still intact.
But after watching this short video that my sons put together for me for Mother's Day, you'll see how my rowdy little boys turned into sweet, wonderful men.
On this day, I always remember my mother. I remember she was a wonderful cook. I remember how much she loved my dad. Ours was a loving home, where I knew the light was always on. I wish I could tell her again how much I love her.
Cherish your mothers. The ones who wiped your tears, who attended all those ball games or ballet recitals. The ones who believed in you, even when nobody else did, even when maybe you didn't believe in yourself.
Women wear many hats in their lives. Daughter, sister, student, breadwinner. But no matter where we are or what we're doing, one hat that moms never take off is the crown of motherhood.
On this week’s issue of Tina Brown’s Newsweek magazine, President Barack Obama is adorned with a rainbow halo, with the headline “The First Gay President,” an obvious play off commentary that former President Bill Clinton was “the first black president.”
The cover promotes the story by Andrew Sullivan, who admitted on his Daily Beast blog and on this weekend’s “The Chris Matthews Show” that the announcement was a very emotional one for him.

New on Facebook: Rush Babes for America
Rush Babes for America, also known as the National Organization for Rush Babes, is a Facebook page dedicated to the millions of conservative women who know what they believe in: family, American values, and not being told by faux feminist groups how to think. We've been working on the page for a while, and today is the launch. And here's the reason. As you know, some day (I forget the exact date) later this month the feminazis are gonna be working with Media Matters for America kicking off some giant program.
I would like to make you aware of a unique opportunity to get involved in the 2012 Republican National Convention by joining the inaugural

Don’t just watch the convention coverage on TV this year, take part in it by joining
The Convention Without Walls. Feel free to share this invitation with your friends, and I hope you are able to take advantage of this unique opportunity.

Martha Zoller, Candidate for Congress from the 9th Congressional District of Georgia receives endorsement from SHEPAC
- May 14, 2012
Wednesday, May 2, 2012 -- 1:00-2:30pm
Spout Springs Branch, Hall
6488 Spout Springs Road
Flowery Branch, GA 3054
Congressman Tom Graves greets his eager constituents of Hall County and delivers a very informative update of recent happenings in Congress. His presentation covered the topics of Budget, Appropriations and Transportation. He said that the GA General Assembly had said it well with their emphasis on sending many items back to the states to be handled including Education and Transportation. Many really good questions were presented to the Congressman. Local constituents were concerned about the Internet Security Vote and the many dangers of cyber attacks which seem to be coming primarily from Russia and China.
3. One local resident presented his case
against the Fair Tax, which is rarely stated in this area. 4 - 7. Scenes from around the room.
Many thanks to Congressman Tom Graves for standing strong against the Democrats, rinos, lobbyists, and other temptations surrounding Congress. We in the new 9th District will miss him as our Representative, but we look forward to sending our Martha Zoller to D.C. to stand strong with Congressman Graves.

Former presidential candidate Newt Gingrich said Sunday that there are no negotiations between himself and presumptive Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney over Gingrich’s role at the Republican National Convention or anything else. Gingrich, speaking on CNN’s State of the Union, said he would “love help” paying off his campaign’s debt, which was $4.3 million at the end of March. He said he would speak at the convention, if asked. But, Gingrich said, “There’s no negotiation.”
“What I want Mitt Romney to do is help us achieve a victory in the Senate, House, and presidency,” Gingrich said. Read more

Georgia Democrats enter the upcoming 2011 session of the General Assembly reeling from a series of defections and facing an uphill climb toward relevance. The once-dominant party holds 85 of 236 seats in the House and Senate, Democrats’ lowest ebb since Reconstruction. And the number has been slipping. Read entire article
